Honolulu’s temperature year-round fluctuates from the high teens to the 30s (Celsius).Its seasons are distinct: dry and rainy. From November to March is rainy season, while the dry season is the rest of the year. Hurricanes usually occur from June to November.

Peak season in Honolulu is from mid-December to April when prices are high and hotels are fully booked.
Off season:
Cheap flights to Honolulu are easier to come in the spring and autumn from mid-April to mid-June and September to mid-December. During Japan’s Golden Week (four national holidays in one week) it’s advisable to book hotel reservations well in advance since the islands can get extremely busy.
Honolulu’s bus system covers most of the city, making it the easiest way to get around. For a narrated tour during your travels, hop on the Waikiki Trolley, which stops at attractions in Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. If you’re planning on going outside of the city, you’ll want to rent a car. Car rentals are reasonably priced, but traffic can be very heavy inside the city.
