More than half-a-million holidaymakers seek flights to Magaluf each year, drawn by its sunny climate, sandy Blue-Flag beach, and sparkling waters. The majority of tourists are young revellers keen to check out the riotous nightlife in the club capital of Mallorca.
Magaluf sits at the edge the Bay of Palma, one of the most built-up areas on the island. It stretches into the nearby - and quieter - resort of Palma Nova.
Apart from the bars, clubs and restaurants, there is plenty of leisure activities. Water sports at the beach include jet-skis, snorkelling, scuba-diving, windsurfing and parascending. Away from water, there is tennis, go-karting, mountain-biking, bungee-jumping and bowling, and, of course, the The House of Katmandu, one of Mallorca's newest tourist attractions.
Magaluf flights land at Palma Airport, just 40 minutes away.
