The charming city of Groningen in the Netherlands is a place rich in history that’s reflected by the many medieval buildings in and around the town centre. Groningen is a family orientated travel destination with plenty of things to see and do. Getting from the Airport to the City
Groningen Airport (GRQ) is approximately 5.5 miles south of the city in north eastern Netherlands. It caters for passengers arriving on domestic and international flights to Groningen. There are many rental car companies inside the airport terminal where you can arrange transportation or taxi hire just outside the main terminal building.
