Getting around Lille

Most people get around town by using the reliable subway lines. This is a cheap travel option especially when buying a daily or weekly discount ticket. Getting from the Airport to the City 

Lille International Airport (LIL) is located 4 miles (6.5 km) south-south east of the city. It’s the twelfth busiest airport in France handling millions of passengers each year. Direct coach travel from the airport to the city runs once an hour. Expect a journey time of 20 minutes. Just outside the arrivals hall you can find an array of taxis but make sure to agree a price before setting off. There is also private car hire if you prefer.
