When is the best time to fly to Malmo?
Peak Season:
The busiest time of the year in the city is the warm summer months, from June to August, when temperatures range from 11 to 21 degrees Celsius. The height of the peak season is July, which is the hottest month in the city. Prices for flights to Malmo and accommodation rates are likely to be high around this time, and also during the festive holiday season, school holidays and during events and festivals.
Low Season:
The cheapest time to visit Malmo is during the off-peak months, from November to March, when the city experiences the coolest temperatures. The most rain falls around mid-November so it’s best to pack an umbrella if you planned a flight to Malmo over this period. February is the coldest time of the year, with temperatures generally around -3 to 2 degrees Celsius. This therefore, is likely to be the time of the year that yields the lowest hotel rates and when cheap flights to Malmo will be more available. Snowfall can also occur from December through to March.

St Peter's church offers lunch, concerts and services for worship. Folket's Park offers a great location for picnics, bars and dance venues. At Katrientorp country house, you will find a gorgeous country manor with well-maintained gardens, a farm house dating back to the 19th century and a café and antiques store. This is a great choice for a day trip for the entire family. A harvest fair and Christmas market is held each year at the Katrientorp.
