A flight to St Vincent and the Grenadines from the UK will take roughly 12h. However, this is just a rough estimate and many factors will play a role in your actual flight time. One of those is the airline you choose, as well as the airport from which you depart. Some flights may require as much as 14h or more. The most common airport for UK departures is London Gatwick, which is the second largest in the UK. London Heathrow Airport is also a popular option. The most common destination airport is Argyle International Airport, which is newly built and located about five miles from Kingstown proper.
Unfortunately, no cities in the UK offer direct flights to St Vincent and the Grenadines. You can, however, choose between flights with one, two, and three stopovers. These are available in many UK cities, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. Other cities in St Vincent and the Grenadines you might fly into include Canouan, Bequia, Mustique, and Union Island. A flight with a single stopover might take 12h. However, a flight with two stopovers may require 14h or 15h depending on the airlines. Some of the more common stopover points on this route are Bridgetown, Barbados, and St Lucia Vigie.

Most of the larger islands have many taxis, so there is never a long wait. Fares are also reasonable. You can also rent a car if you like, but roads can be challenging for newcomers to navigate. Buses are also available, and boats will help you get around ports.
While St Vincent and the Grenadines might be small in terms of square miles of land, there is a lot to do. You can take one of many nature trails through the tropical jungle, or visit the Botanical Gardens. Mopion and Owia Salt Pond are both popular destinations here, as well. Fort Duvernette, and Walliabou are worth visiting, and many travelers will find the Falls of Baleine and Petit Tabac worth spending time in.
A valid passport is needed to enter St Vincent and the Grenadines. It must be valid for at least six months after your date of entry. While you do not need a visa as a British passport holder, you do need to apply for a visit duration, which will be assigned to you. If you wish to stay longer than this, you will need to apply for an extension. Note that overstaying your entry period may mean that you will be required to pay a fine before you can leave.
