Alicante

Alicante Airport (ALC): www.aena.es is located 11km (7 miles) south of Alicante.

To/from the airport: Taxis are available at the airport. The taxi rank is situated in front of the Arrivals hall. Scheduled buses run every hour to/from Alicante central bus station. Other services run to Benidorm and Murcia. All buses depart from opposite the Arrivals hall.

Facilities: Bureau de change, ATMs and a post office, bars, restaurants and shops. There are lost property offices on the ground floor. There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. There is a 24-hour first aid service and a pharmacy.

Barajas

Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD): www.aena.es is located 9km (5.6 miles) from the city.

To/from the airport: Metro train and buses depart at regular intervals. Official, metered taxis leave from outside the arrivals sections of the terminals.

Facilities: Banks, currency exchange, ATMs, shops, restaurants and bars, chapels, business centres, a post office and pharmacies.

Barcelona International

Barcelona Airport (BCN): www.aena.es is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of central Barcelona.

To / from the airport: The Aerobus service goes to and from Placa de Catalunya every 15 minutes, dropping off at locations along the way. Trains run from the airport to various stations in the city centre every 30 minutes, costing around €2.40; the airport station is located near Terminal A and is connected to the terminal by a moving walkway. There are taxi ranks outside the airport terminals; taxis are metered.

Facilities: ATMs, currency exchange facilities, banks, shops (including duty free), a children’s play area, wireless internet access, VIP lounges, bars and restaurants. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Fuerteventura/Puerto del Rosario

Fuerteventura Airport (FUE): www.aena-aeropuertos.es is located 5km (3 miles) southwest of Puerto del Rosario, the island’s capital.

To/from the airport: Public buses and taxis are available.

Facilities: ATMs, children’s play area, tourist information booth, pharmacy and first aid station, Wi-Fi.

Ibiza

Ibiza Airport (IBZ): www.aena.es is located 7km (4.5 miles) southwest of Ibiza.

To/from the airport: The Ibiza Airport Bus takes passengers from the airport into the town of Ibiza. The airport is well-serviced by taxis, which can be found directly outside of the Arrivals Hall.

Facilities: ATMs, bureau de change, bank, post office, fast-food restaurants, bars, restaurants and cafes, duty-free shops, first aid facility, pharmacy, chapel, travel agencies, tour operators, lost property office. There is no left-luggage facility at the airport.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote Airport (ACE): www.aena.es is located 5km (3 miles) from Arrecife.

To/from the airport: Arrecifebus routes 22 and 23 go to/from Arrecife-Playa Honda bus station. The bus station is situated next to Arrivals. Taxis are available at the airport and depart from taxi ranks next to Arrivals.

Facilities: ATMs, bureau de change, fax, photocopying and Internet access. Cafés, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlour, fast-food outlets, cafeteria, duty-free shops, lost property facilities, pharmacy, first aid, travel agency. There are no left-luggage facilities at the airport.

Las Palmas/Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria Airport (LPA): www.aena.es is situated19km (12 miles) south of the city of Las Palmas.

To/from the airport: There are frequent bus services operated by Global between the airport and the capital, as well as other destinations on the island. Bus 60 runs to Las Palmas for Parque de San Catalina and Parque de San Telmo. Bus 66 runs to Faro de Maspalomas. Bus services depart from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C. Taxis are available from stands outside the Arrivals areas of all three zones.

Facilities: Bank, bureau de change, post office, internet cafe, coffee shops, bars, fast-food stands, 24-hour deli, duty-free shops, florist, jewellers, mini supermarket, lost property offices, 24-hour medical service, pharmacy, baby rooms, children’s play room, chapel, travel agencies and tour operators.

To/from the airport: There are buses and trains from the transport hub at Terminal 3. Taxis can be found at the arrivals roadway.

Palma de Majorca

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI): www.aena.es is located 8km (5 miles) east of Palma.

To/from the airport: Most tour operators organise transport to hotels. For those that don’t, there are several buses that connect the airport to Palma and other major towns and resorts on the island. Buses leave from outside Arrivals. Taxis are plentiful.

Facilities: ATMs, a bank, bureau de change, shops, bars and restaurants, a post office and a children’s play area. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
