The inability to check in with the final leg of our flight via the Aers Lingus app led to a stressful trip as the final leg was overbooked and we were not able to confirm a seat until we had arrived to Chicago. Lack of earphones for the "entertainment" system were not voluntarily provided or even referenced as available (even for a charge) while boarding the plane - this seems like an oversight.
