The American city of Salisbury is the largest on the eastern shore of Maryland. Salisbury is in an excellent location for visiting some of the nearest big cities on the East Coast. You can drive up the US 50 highway over to Washington, D.C. or Baltimore in about two hours or drive north up the US 13 highway to reach Philadelphia in two and a half hours.
Salisbury-Ocean City (SBY) (also known as Wicomico Regional Airport) is a small airport situated on the east side of the city at a distance of 5 miles (8 km).
