This was my first time flying with Frontier, and it will be my last. The Frontier staff at gate D4 at BWI didn’t make any announcements during boarding and the flight was already delayed, so passengers didn’t receive any updates. The flight from ATL to LAX, I sat in seat 41C which was near the galley and the rear restrooms. There was a nonstop line for the 4 hour and 37 minute flight, passengers jerked my seat backwards and forward, the flight attendants talked the entire time and complained about being a flight attendant for Frontier. It was more about having social hour for the flight attendants than actually working. They complained loudly anytime the overhead light was activated. The passenger seated next to me cracked and smacked her gum for the duration of the flight (4 hours, 37 minutes) and used her cell phone on the brightest setting even though this was a night flight and the cabin lights were dimmed. I felt the urge to shout several times because everyone, including the Frontier flight attendants, were being extremely rude and unreasonable. Frontier is worse than Southwest and I avoid Southwest at all costs. I also didn’t know that refreshments were not free and the flight attendants were out of several items, so I went from ATL to LAX without any refreshments from Frontier. Going forward, I’ll pay more money for other airlines (e.g., Delta, American, United) for better service and for a better experience. I’d rather fly with passengers who have manners and are not rude. Passengers who focus on low paying flight experiences are absolutely horrendous to fly with.
