I've always had a good experience with Swiss air but this time, it was different. I had a flight from Paris to NYC with a layover in Zürich. The first leg was great, the second leg was another story. I landed in Zürich, and the flight was delayed and delayed because of mechanical issues. I was working when out of curiousity, to see if we had started boarding. I spoke with one of the passengers and they told me the flight was cancelled. There was no announcement. I was phone less. There were no associates or no one to assist the passengers at the gate. Then we went to the transit center where they did their best. There were two workers for over 150 people waiting in the line. When it was finally my turn, they told me to look at the emails to see if it came through and book my hotel that way. I applaud Swiss for providing hotel, hotel transfers and food free of charge. I understand thing happen and I wish they would have provided their workers with the resources to provide better custiomer when the event occurred.
