Flights to Cebu, Philippines from the United Kingdom range from about 15h-30h. Your flight time will likely be on the longer end of the spectrum if your departure city is in northern England and Scotland, or as far west as Belfast, due to geographical location and the likelihood of increased stopovers along your route. If you’re flying out of London, your flight will be on the shorter end of the range thanks to its position in southern England and the better chance for only a single stopover.
Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from the United Kingdom to Cebu, Philippines. To book the shortest flight times possible, consider booking flights with airlines that regularly service Cebu, such as Emirates, Philippine Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Asiana Airlines, and see which provide flights to Cebu from your nearest airport. Common stopover cities you can expect when booking your flight to Cebu from the UK include Manchester, London, Zurich, Hong Kong, and Manila.

You can also opt to take a local bus, MyBus, from the airport to SM City Cebu Mall in centre city, which will take about 30-45 minutes. Buses operate about every 20 minutes, and your journey will cost you less than £1.
Cebu Island is home to the Philippine’s oldest city and has plenty to do and see to delight tourists from across the glove. Stroll through Mactan Shrine Park for beautiful scenery and the bronze statue of Lapu-Lapu, considered a major hero in Filipino history. Visiting Temple of Leah and the Taoist Temple is a sight to behold, the colourful, Greek-inspired shrine that is considered Cebu’s very own Taj Mahal. Mentioned earlier in the “how to get to city centre” bit, SM City Cebu Mall is the largest shopping mall in the Philippines. But it’s more than a place to shop-til-you-drop, the mall boasts masterful architecture and a gorgeous rooftop park.
