Sioux Falls gets its name from the Sioux Native American tribe which once made its home in the area. The Kirby Science Discovery Centre will allow you a glimpse into the natural history of the area, while the Sertoma Butterfly house will give you the chance to see more than 800 free-flying butterflies.

Sioux Falls Regional Airport, also known as Joe Foss Field Airport, is 6km (almost 4 miles) from the centre of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the largest city between Minneapolis and Denver.
