Windshield had chip on driver side noted on rental agreement. When I turned it in the agent said they should not have given me that car as it could have cracked more and been dangerous. Said car should have been taken out of service and repaired. I have received an email from “ damage department asking how damage occurred . I was not at fault and damage occurred prior to my receiving this vehicle.

The car I booked on Kayak was not available, so I ended up being up-charged about $175 for a different vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle, the Sixt employee (in Denver) pointed to a TINY chip on the windshield and said he was concerned about it and essentially tried to charge me extra! I was NOT hit by a rock and the vehicle was parked inside the entire time. I asked for a receipt at the time of returning the vehicle and he said he could not provide me with one and it would be emailed to me. The whole experience was shady and I will not be using Sixt ever again.

All the add ins like paying for toll roads was a bit expensive and unnecessary price for the limited amount of time the car was rented for otherwise it was a great experience and super easy drop off

We had to cancel due to a family health emergency and they had VERY POOR customer service. Almost impossible to reach a customer support person and all the online instructions sent us in circles. We could have easily lost all the money (you pay the whole fee up front).

Staff was really friendly. Had to pay extra to get a 4WD/AWD vehicle; there was no way to reserve one upfront. You’d think a rental location in Denver, during ski season, where there is a state law for AWD/4WD during the winter months, would have to ability to flag a rental requirement for a AWD/4WD vehicle.

Unlimited mileage

Was hoping for Toyota Camry as advertised in full size class. Chevy Malibu was very, very difficult to figure out controls -never did on many things. If son had not been along to help with turning things on, off, up, down and being co-pilot, I would've had a nervous breakdown! Taught me that I will never buy a Malibu, even if it was offered near free, Also location was far from home, had to keep three days longer than planned till I can get a ride home from Leetsdale Drive without paying $40 for ride

Still pretty pricey for rental cars but definitely the best deal I found out there. I tried to shift the dates about a month out from my original reservation date and the price was going to double. A bit ridiculous. I also had issues with the Keysense in the car that controls all of the electronic alerts. Was distracting having alerts going off almost leading to crashing due to being startled, & frustrating with the volume limit in the car, not being able to hear phone calls or directions. Had to plug phone into external speaker. Tried to call and talked to several costumer service representatives about trying to find the keysense PIN number for the car, and no one was able to help. That was my biggest frustration with the car.

It was 9 pm and most of the people that were in line did not have a reservation. When it was my turn in line, after waiting an hour in line, I was given a car that I did not purchase. Then I received a vehicle that was dirty and had trash in it. Then I received a damaged vehicle. I was offered a refund for an extra day, but was still charged over full price for the rental. First and last time I rent with Avis. How can one place be so unorganized.

Terrible. The man I worked with was shady and charged me for a car I didn’t want just so that he could get commission! Next thing I know, my bill was sky high and now I have to dispute the entire thing. Extremely poor customer service. Very disappointed.

Staff was pleasant. But it took 2.5 hours to get a car and I had done a precheck in. Line at the counter was out the door, and once you were finished with that line, you had to stand in another line outside for 20-30 minutes to get a car assigned to you. Then it was chaos trying to get out of the parking lot, which took another 15-20 minutes.

The car needs the door seals replaced on the rear hatch. Why driving I noticed a noxious exhaust smell and thought maybe the rear window was down some. The 4 runner exhaust exit the rear of the car. If the seal is damaged or the window is down any. It will pull exhaust fumes in the car while driving. The remedy this I rolled a rear window down an 1/8" to create a positive pressure in the car. I'm sure the seal was damage due to normal wear of luggage being removed, ect. It appeard someone tried to gule it previously. Luckily the weather wasn't too bad to have to have the widow open to keep the fumes at bay.

Horrible experience . Mentioned many times I didn't need extra insurance. I showed the representative what we had purchased. Additional insurance was added when we were exhausted, jetlagged and didn't understand what was being added..why didn't she listen to us. We spoke with management but if course they sided with the employee. We will not deal with Hertz again nor will we give positive recommendations for it

There was a mix up about where to pick up the rental, but once I got to the correct location, the staff was very friendly & helpful. The car was dirty and scratched up, but it got us to where we needed to be and it was the perfect size for 4 travelers.

I called 2 weeks in advance to ask for hand controls to be put into the car since I am disabled. The lady who "helped" me sounded like she was at home eating dinner and was bothered to have to take a work call, and hung up abruptly once she had put in my request. I was a little put off, but I got a confirmation email about my request. Upon arriving in a city across the country from where I live, as a severely disabled person, the Hertz station had no car with hand controls, and said that Hertz corporate had not communicated to them, and that "this happens all the time". Incredibly unprofessional and putting me in a terrible situation. Worst of all, nobody from Hertz contacted me to give me the heads up that there were no cars with hand controls, so I had no time to make alternate arrangements. I should sue these dirt bags. Will never give this company any business ever again, and if you are disabled I strongly discourage you from using this rental company.
