The problem was with Kayak. I asked to book a car at LAX and it was booked miles away at Venice Beach. I went through all the stress of lugging my suitcases and trying to find the shuttle, only to get to the LAX site and be told I'd have to pay to change my reservation or take a taxi to Venice Beach. You should be reimbursing me $60 for the two taxis I had to take back and forth. Also, you should give specific instructions about where to get the shuttle. You didn't give any. I was out in traffic trying to find the shuttle. Sixt is very hard to get to by phone! It was also hard to hear and the man had a thick accent and wasn't specific enough about how to get from the door from Southwest to the correct " purple" column. A lot of difficulty and stress. Thank you.

Do not rent a car with this company. At pickup, the salesman used deceptive sale tactics and added charges to my account without confirming the charges. He processed the payment before confirming the total charges. The morning after drop off, I was charged an additional $127.00 with no explanation. I am still trying to connect with their customer service to determine why I was charged this.

I needed a car for 5 hrs. The quoted price by the agent on-site was way too higher than the online prices. Had to reserve a car online in order for the agent to get me a batter price. This in fact was the 2nd car I rented from dollar in last 2 weeks. First one was booked for 13 days and the agent tried his level best to up sell various additional products by giving wrong information.

I made a reservation and did not use it. Arrived at LAX Airport about 9:30pm. Waited to get on a shuttle. I finally asked a driver and was told ACE does not pick up?? I have to call them. I called and was told they had closed at 8pm. I was literally left on the curb at the airport. I am elderly and was told they open at 5am. I had to find another rental with someone else. Was not a fun experience.

There were no proper directions to the rental office so many of us had to call. The wait at the office was 2 hours. The rental agent was aggresive and unhelpful. I paid for the rental on line and he said they had no record of it at the ticket counter. I was charged twice and had to dispute it with my cc company. I was told at the ticket counter that if the car was dirty i would be charged. Worse rental of all time, i wont be renting there again.

We had to wait 40 minutes for a shuttle and when it finally arrived it was jam packed. Then when we arrived at the depot we had to wait 20 minutes in the queue for the paperwork. We then wanted to upgrade to a car with GPS so that took another 20 minutes. The car itself was tidy and the price was much better than other car rental companies but they obviously save on having less frequent and smaller shuttles. The return shuttle was fine and uncrowded and we only had to wait 7 minutes. We were worried that it would be similar to arrival so we had allocated extra time which then meant we were at the airport super early but better than being late.

Back tires were sworn No mix in the tank for windshield and certainly no mix going below 32F …and we had snow storms in Arizona Noises in the airco system I mentioned when giving the véhicule back and the agent told me the car was going to auction. No reason to give a véhicule with security issues like the the tires. I slipped a couple of time and honestly did not like it.

Just back from California. Could not receive the car from FOX the 12/27/22 because my nationality did not match the drivers license nationality. I am German but live in Spain since kid, have a Spanish licenses as i have to as been resident in Spain. Even talking to the manager, there was nothing they could do about my license, even i had as well an International License issued in Spain with me. The Rental was canceled by FOX as I do not fit their conditions. I asked for reinbursement as canceled by them. They said i have to talk to PRICELINE to get Reinbursement as i did not fit their conditions. Had to rent from another company paying new rental with no licenses problem. Please give an contact from your company for reimbursement.
