|Jul 2023The car that Budget gave us had a huge number of miles on it, more than I am used to seeing in a rental car, and it showed. The brakes were not sensitive and the general functionality of the car - the seat adjustment, the climate control - was not working very well. The car was just used too much and might not have been maintained well. The pick-up was easy, although the rental agent had posted a "be right back" sign in the window. We only had to wait about five minutes but it was odd. The return in Brooklyn was more difficult. The rental desk was hard to find and hard to approach in the car.
