The car was great but drop off was very confusing and is still ongoing five days after dropping off at the address given to drop off. I dropped off within ten hours but Avis is acknowledging it. Completely frustrating and unacceptable.

The car had an issue connecting to my Phone for GPS - was disconnecting every couple of minutes. Otherwise the checkin and checkout was a breeze and the car worked as expected. Drove almost 1500 miles over the course of a week without any problems.

Arrived at the counter and they wanted to charge almost twice the pre booked price.

The vehicle was perfect for our trips needs and was exactly as we could have hoped. However, the amount we were charged was more than double what we had reserved the vehicle for. Our confirmation 27887859US6 was for $432.87 but we were charged $895.52 upon returning the vehicle. We hope to have this resolved as quickly and easily as possible. Please reach out to me as soon as possible with a resolution. Thank you.

They didn’t charge me an upgrade fee when it was on them that my booked vehicle wasn’t available

I am a local and was renting a car to go to Cali as we often do to save on wear and tear. The guy at the office was like did you read our policy and I said no and I asked what it was about and he said all locals need a utility bill to rent a car. WHAT? Never ever had I heard about this from the other companies and why would you hassle locals that are going to suggest you for rental to friends and family. I walked out because he gave attitude like he didn’t even want to be at his job! Be aware of this place.

I am grateful for Ace Car Rental. They were especially busy, but still took care of us in a quick and efficient manner. Their staff is very kind and professional as well. I appreciate their consistency in all they do. They are dependable and caring. We will definitely being use them again. I think we have been there at least 3 times. They are winners!

Reserved a car for a day. Showed up and waited in a line for 1.5 hours and was told sorry no car available. Picked a car I reserved months in advance and was given keys and a slip. Walk 5 min to get it and it’s not the same car at all. Walk all the way back and am told they will have a manager find it. Proceed to wait for another 15 min and then get given a car that obviously was not cleaned and was only 50% charged. The interior had food crumbs all over and the back seat had some sort of liquid spilled all over it. Never again will I use hertz.

Although I reserved a vehicle ahead of time, I had to stand in line for over 45 minutes to get to the rental desk that had only 3 people working. The woman that eventually helped me was wonderful but I was told to “go to zone 1, jump in any car there & drive away”. When I went to zone 1, there were only 2 electric vehicles there when I specifically said I wanted gas. I wandered around for a while to find someone that worked there & had to wait for a gas vehicle to be cleaned & brought around. I paid for an suv & got a Nissan Altima. Honestly, it was a fun, good little car but not what I wanted. We had our road trip & when I was returning the vehicle, I got rear ended by someone at a traffic light that fled the scene. I called & made a damage report right away. When I returned the vehicle, I wanted to talk to someone from hertz about the damage and there was literally NO ONE working at the return. I took photos of the vehicle (front & back) & left it there. I then went back to the rental desk because I felt like I should talk to a human about it being returned with damage & there were only 2 people working there with a bunch of new renters lined up waiting. I didn’t wait even longer to talk to someone since I had already reported it to the damage person on the phone. The lack of people working is ridiculous.
