|Aug 2023Disaster !! 2-3 hour wait to get the car !

|Aug 2023It was a nightmare. We had a 2 pm pickup. We got there at 2:15 pm and they said all cars were gone for the day to come back tomorrow or possibly in 7 hours. We were at the airport and trying to move on with the rest of our trip. After waiting a while, we ended up using Enterprise at the airport. How can we prepay and reserve a car if they don’t have it. In the span of an hour of us waiting, this happened to at least 30 other families too.

|Aug 2023I had a confirmed reservation but when I got to the rental office they had no vehicles available for 2 days. Ruined the trip!

|Apr 2023I had to wait two hours in line to pick up my car. This was ridiculous. No other car rental place. I had a line anywhere near that within the facility.

|Mar 20233 hour wait to pick up the vehicle at ATL airport. No matter how good of a price you get, it's not worth it. DON'T DO IT unless you have a lot of time waste.

|Mar 2023Atlanta airport location drastically over booked cars. I waited in line for an hour and forty five minutes to pick up a car I had reserved several weeks in advance.

|Oct 2022No car; nobody at the counter. Total tragedy if an experience.

|Jan 2022The car and drop off experience were both good, no complaints. Pick up was not::: 1) I was redirected from the payless counter, (a payless contract), to the avis counter 2) The first avis clerk redirected to a different avis clerk who knew how to handle a payless transaction 3) steps 1 and 2 caused a significant delay 4) price of the printed contract was higher than the amount of the online order 5) the clerk changed the contract to the online order amount 6) my credit card was billed for the higher amount, (more than the order or contract).

|Sept 2023The man I was working with was fine, but the lady who was with him seemed high. She was on her phone constantly and another woman walked in and then they started talking about their boss. Aside from that, they didn’t have the size car I wanted. I had to take something smaller. The car had a huge dent and scratch on the side.

|Jun 2023After a 15 hour flight, i took a taxi to the Avis facility. When I arrived I showed the Avis rep at the counter my reservation (which clearly states that I had a car reserved). The rep told me there were no cars at the locations and because I made the reservation recently the location couldn’t guarantee me a vehicle. I had to change my plans and wait 3 hours for a Greyhound bus to get home after a 15 hour flight. I cant understand how there are no cars available if I have a confirmation that leads me to believe differently. Lastly, I landed at 5pm and the Avis location closed at 6pm. I rushed and caught a taxi which chose me $40 to get to the Avis location I rented from. I called the Avis location 3 times from the Taxi and my calls were not answered. When I arrived at the location at 5:45 (15 minutes before closing) there were 4 employees behind the counter talking and joking. It is obvious they were too engaged in their personal conversation to answer the phone when I called a few minutes earlier. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SERVICE AND WILL NOT UTILIZE IT IN THE FUTURE.
