|Jan 2026They had no cars available. Their telephone customer service was abysmal

|May 2025They did not have any car available for us despite the fact that we had already paid for one

|Sept 2023The car was excellent. My experience with Kayak was wonderful as usual. I reserved a car which would make me assume a car was available. I had to wait an hour to finalize my car and the average wait to actually get one was 2+ hours. This significantly delayed travel plans I would expect if a reservation is available, it means a car will be. This needs to be addressed by Thrifty/Dollar.

|May 2023pickup line was about 2 hours long. Several people not in line mentioned they stood in line for 1.5-2 hours and then had been waiting 2 hours for a car they still didn't have yet. We didn't have time to deal with that so ended up taking an uber instead even though our rental was a prepaid non refundable

|Jan 2023All good except getting car out of lot. For some reason this takes at least five minutes.

|Oct 2022No car; nobody at the counter. Total tragedy if an experience.

|Jan 2022The car and drop off experience were both good, no complaints. Pick up was not::: 1) I was redirected from the payless counter, (a payless contract), to the avis counter 2) The first avis clerk redirected to a different avis clerk who knew how to handle a payless transaction 3) steps 1 and 2 caused a significant delay 4) price of the printed contract was higher than the amount of the online order 5) the clerk changed the contract to the online order amount 6) my credit card was billed for the higher amount, (more than the order or contract).

|Jan 2022Picking up was a mess, there was no one at the counter, and we had to wait in an long Avis line for people who did not prepay or register.

|Aug 2023Disaster !! 2-3 hour wait to get the car !
2.0
|Aug 2023It was a nightmare. We had a 2 pm pickup. We got there at 2:15 pm and they said all cars were gone for the day to come back tomorrow or possibly in 7 hours. We were at the airport and trying to move on with the rest of our trip. After waiting a while, we ended up using Enterprise at the airport. How can we prepay and reserve a car if they don’t have it. In the span of an hour of us waiting, this happened to at least 30 other families too.

|Aug 2023I had a confirmed reservation but when I got to the rental office they had no vehicles available for 2 days. Ruined the trip!

|Apr 2023I had to wait two hours in line to pick up my car. This was ridiculous. No other car rental place. I had a line anywhere near that within the facility.

|Mar 20233 hour wait to pick up the vehicle at ATL airport. No matter how good of a price you get, it's not worth it. DON'T DO IT unless you have a lot of time waste.

|Mar 2023Atlanta airport location drastically over booked cars. I waited in line for an hour and forty five minutes to pick up a car I had reserved several weeks in advance.
