My concierge at the counter, Faye, was the real winner. She was courteous and efficient and personable. When her assistants in the lot could not seem to give her the correct car VIN to match her computer record (she asked at least 5 times to have them relay the correct # to no avail—the last two of her requests went unanswered even ☹️)—that’s when Faye took matters into her own hands. After having me wait 15 minutes for her assistants to do their job, Faye ditched them entirely and upgraded my rental herself, allowing me to move on in time to make my fathers funeral. Faye’s lot assistants may need a review and some more training—but FAYE WAS STELLAR AND MADE MY WHOLE TRIP UNCOMPLICATED—and even stylishly comfortable. Faye deserves a BONUS/raise!!

When we walked into the rental office she just sat there like she was more interested in something else. We asked her several times if she could help up and was ignored. We asked if we needed to pay for a second driver she said yes. The other lady sad no to the people next to us..........Sad

I had to wait 45 minutes to pick up, even when pre-paid. There were $66 in taxes that were not included in the pre-pay. Two workers at the counter and about 30 in line. The workers were doing their best and were cordial, but this process needs to be improved

No contact received from Dollar after booking with KAYAK ! Had to phone to confirm they had booking. No clear instructions on where to go to get the car ( long walk as following airport signs was for returns only)! Only 1 car to choose from which had been cleaned poorly and upon checking it had not been refueled. Very unimpressed & will think long & hard about using KAYAK or Dollar again.

I paid for the large Suv upfront. When I went to pick it up I was told I would get the smaller car because I didn’t have my credit card. I had my debit card. That made no sense. The 2 women at the counter in ft myers were so rude to me through this I would never rent from dollar again. Even besides the fact I was upset about this issue they were really horrible to deal with. I will go somewhere else next time and I will put this on social Media as well

I booked a small pickup truck as my rental. I was given a Chevrolet Colorado as my rental. The truck itself is a nice truck. This particular truck was pretty beat up with dents and scratches all over, all four tires were at different pressures and the low pressure light was on so I had to go to a tire shop and get the air adjusted in all tires, door trim on the drivers door was coming loose, the inside was dirty, the windows were absolutely filthy and the wiper blades were barely useful. I had to buy rain-x so that I can see. Very disappointed with this rental.

Staff was not accommodating and rude.. came to visit my family due to a death and the manager had a problem picking the car up from our hotel. Our fight was stepped up due to weather and I did not have time to drop off the car.. I have never dealt with such rude staff.. Arrived and had to wait for the staff to clean a car. Back in Boston never a problem dealing with staff always friendly and accommodating..

The car was clean and in great running condition.

When I booked this vehicle, I had set the pickup location to RSW Airport. The car was a 28 minute uber away from the airport, which cost me additional money. When I asked if I could return it to the airport, they said no. This required us to leave the hotel an hour earlier to get the car dropped off and get a ride to the airport before we left. The staff at Enterprise wasn't rude, but they weren't friendly either. I don't generally write bad reviews, but it was very irritating that I booked a vehicle to be picked up at the airport and was not informed that the location that they reserved was not at the airport. I put that fault on KAYAK and not Enterprise.

Decent, clean car at a reasonable price.

This Hertz pickup location is at a Holiday Inn about 10 minutes from the airport and no shuttle is provided. This info was not provided either on the rental site before booking or the completed reservation. We only became aware of this when we called the rental office after learning from Hertz at the airport that we had reserved a vehicle at an off site location and we're told we had to get a cab or Uber to pick up our car.

Car was fine. Picking up car was a disaster. Rental counter was very understaffed during spring break in FL. I waited for 45 min with 15 people in front of me. There were at least 30 people behind me. It was a nightmare and Hertz management has still not responded to me about it.

My problem is more with Kayak. I rented a cargo van. When I arrived at Hertz, they don't rent vans, only pick-up trucks...so a bait-and-switch. This kind of defeated the purpose of being able to transport items without worrying about people stealing out of the back of a truck. Total waste of money for a week's rental.

Do not choose Fox even if it is cheaper. It’s off-site and the cars are so scratched up and dented. They use the scare tactic when signing the agreement. We ended up going back to the airport and chose another, well established rental company, which meant we did pay more.

Some confusion over the pick up location when booked on line. Hannah &, in particular, Shelsey, were extremely helpful & diligent in completing the reservation at RSW Airport location. Unfortunately, our first rental displayed engine maintenance caution near the mid point of our lease, so we had to return it for a replacement. Once again, the staff at RDW Airport were efficient at handling the transaction.

The business was no where to be found. We spent two hours driving around asking everyone where it was. The phone number lead to a dead end also. It said, "don't leave a message here, we don't return calls". My only redeeming factor was I had NOT given them my credit card number to hold the reservation. THANK GOODNESS!

If you rent with them you’d better read the fine print if there is any. The office closes at 8 pm, there is no message on the phone when you call from the airport telling you this, and no way to get in touch with them. The nice driver for ParkSmart helped my daughter and I find a car, at 10:30 at night, due to flight delays, and took us to the car. ParkSmart says they hear this complaint all week. Avoid Easirent.

Everything was a nightmare with Easirent, beginning with an impasse due to their insistence I needed to pay $20 MORE PER DAY for rental to 5-hour arrival delay due to Jet Blue plane maintenance & their surcharge for retaining my reservation I am contesting

It took over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the terminal pick up point. We were told the shuttle had just left when we arrived and would be about 30 minutes before it returned. It is a 12 minute drive to the location. The shuttle made two more trips to drop off people at the terminal but never stopped at the pick up point. We called multiple times and no one answered at the branch after our first call. Additionally they require you to provide proof of insurance or they will charge you $19.99 per day. I've never had a rental car company do this - luckily we were able to retrieve this information remotely because we do not carry this with us when we travel.
