Staff were very friendly. Easy checkin process. The only downside is that our pickup location did not have child seats so not sure why my reservation went through. We were made to travel to another location to pick up a car seat. Did not like this inconvenience but we had no choice.

I was very disappointed. I went to rental location and was told that my debit card could not be used for payment. I asked to use apple pay and that was a big fat no. I returned home and picked up a credit card and went back to rental location and they were closed at noon. The $26 I paid for insurance was not refunded. When I lift the location I should have been informed that they close at noon on Sunday, I told the customer service representative that I would be coming back with a credit card,

Perhaps my Owen fault, when I did not bring my credit card from Denmark. Back Home it is Ok to rent with just a debit card. The rent was prepaid and verified.. !! Anyway - my son and I had to go by public transportation instead. After the waiting at Avis San Diego.

I had no idea the locations for pick-up and drop off were not at the arrival and departure airports as requested. Had to get a taxi to take from airport to the p/u location and office was closed for 30 minutes once I arrived, in a pouring down rainstorm. The car was not cleaned and the tools in the cargo area were unsecured adn rolling around on our drive. The drop off location was also offsite and I had to have a friend meet me there and give me a ride to the airport.

When we arrived at San Diego Airport, we were told that our reservation was Tijuana not San Diego. I had a print out of my reservation and it showed Pick-up and Return were both San Diego. I ended up paying $90 more than my reserved price. I was not very happy about it.

The kayak app put the car rental at the wrong airport. I put thaw San Diego airport and the kayak App switched it to the Tijuana airport without notifying me. I had to Uber to the other airport which cost over $50 and pay to change the drop off to the San Diego airport which cost another $90. I will not use the kayak app ever again.

at checkin agent suggested I upgrade for only $4/day which would be $16 additional for my 4 day rental. But, actual increase was $90 from online price of $103 to $193. I didn't question at the time, unfortunately, but I take this as a deceitful practice.

Jesus was a jerk at check in. After turning down his up-sales (bigger car and insurance), he was visible anger and almost hostile. When we got down to the parking garage and spot number, he had put us in an economy car with no trunk, even though we had paid for intermediate. A worker in the garage got us a intermediate car, but was not surprised by our experience. Jesus’s actions delayed us by 30 minutes, and there was no recourse.

The website stated the closing time was at 11:30p.m. When we arrived, thankfully early, we were informed the location closed at 11p.m. This issue could have ruined our vacation and possibly ruined someone else's vacation.

The first car I got was broken. No AC and it overheated. I was in San Diego for about 2 days to mourn my mother’s death and had to spend time on the phone with roadside assistance and be interrupted by a car swap. Not ok. It was a brand new car.

I’d like that I could pick up the car at the airport facility. The price for what I got was reasonable. I didn’t like that I had to beg them to look for a car that had an electric power seat and a rear camera. I am very short, in order to be safe in a car. I need to be able to sit higher and also have a rear camera. I notified six rental well before my pick up that I needed a car with these two things. I also requested Apple CarPlay. I also didn’t like that six weeks into my rental. I received a call telling me I had to bring the car back and trade it in for another car as they had sold his car. It took a whole day and a whole tank of gas for me to make that trade. I was not compensated for either. Both of the cars that I drove were acceptable to me. The first car, however, had significant body damage. I had to accept that in order to get the power driver seat that I require because I am so short. Returning the car was very easy and efficient.
